Grade 310 resists oxidation and is also used at temperatures up to 1040 degrees Celsius intermittently. Similar to other austenitic steel grades, toughness down to cryogenic temperatures is another feature of 310.
Versatile and useful in many areas, 310 Stainless Steel is often found in furnace parts, heat exchangers, welding filler wire, oil burner parts, and general heat treatment.310 contains a high chromium-nickel content, and is known for its superior scaling and corrosion resistance. It has excellent heat and oxidation resistance and superior strength.
Alloy 310 is an austenitic stainless steel that combines excellent high temperature properties with good ductility and weldability. It is typically used for elevated temperature applications as its high chromium and nickel content provide solid corrosion resistance, excellent resistance to oxidation, and superior strength in temperatures up to 2100°F. Xuda Steel prefers 30%TT before inspection and the rest 70% against BL. However, our price term is negotiable. Multiple payment terms are available from us.
